WATER SUPPLY & SEWERAGE
water supply

Water supply and sewerage infrastructure is essential to secure water supply by maintaining drinking water quality, preserving water quality at water sources and ensuring proper sewage treatment for protecting public health.
With technological expertise and know-how, we, Toshiba, supply highly reliable plants to maintain stable and efficient operations, as well as offer the best solution to improve the energy efficiency.

Boiler room and individual heating points (ESI)

You’re aware of the boiler in your building, but have you taken a close look at how a boiler system works? Technically, a boiler is an enclosed vessel or arrangement of tubes in which water is heated and circulated, either as hot water or as steam, to supply heat or power. So on a very basic level, boilers are the ultimate water heater. There are definitely similarities between a water heater and a boiler based on definition, internal function, and some shared technology

Yet people are often surprised to learn we work with boilers too. Maybe it’s because boiler technology has been around for so long and used for many different things in various ways over time (like powering locomotive steam engines!), that it’s hard to believe a boiler can still be a relevant piece of equipment in modern boiler rooms. But it’s true, boilers can still be quite useful today, especially when placed in the right circumstances.

Domestic, industrial and storm sewerage

Domestic sewage is wastewater that is removed from the daily life of households, hotels, restaurants, schools, and shopping malls. It has a wide range of sources and a huge amount. With the rapid development of economy and the increase in residents’ living standards, there is more and more sewage discharge to be treated. This kind of sewage is characterized by a large amount of organic matter (such as protein, starch, fat, and urea), pathogenic microorganisms, and suspended matter. The main purpose of wastewater treatment is to remove organic matter and nutrients, not to recycle them. The selection of the best treatment process mainly depends on the concentration of pollutants and the nature of the wastewater.

Storm sewers are drains that carry surface water runoff from rain, melting snow, and overflow from lawn water. These sewers convey this runoff to water bodies such as catch basins, rivers and lakes. A storm sewer’s components include the above-ground drain that is usually found at street-level, just below the sidewalk line, and the reservoir piping/tunneling beneath it that carries the water elsewhere.

Industrial Sewage means a combination of liquid and water carried wastes, discharged from any industrial establishment, and resulting from any trade or process carried on in that establishment. This shall include the wastes from pretreatment facilities and polluted cooling water.

Cold and hot water supply

Every plumbing fixture and water and waste pipe shall be properly installed and free from defects, leaks, and obstructions. Work under this section consists of furnishing all labour, materials equipment andappliances necessary and required to completely install for water supply system
